The Basics
What is TRAQ?
TRAQ is a cloud-based conversation intelligence software platform that gives sales teams the knowledge they need to win more deals. Sales leaders get a clear picture of pipeline health, team performance and skill gaps so they can make stronger strategic decisions, maximize performance, and coach their team to long-lasting success.
How does TRAQ work?
TRAQ records each sales call, then runs the conversation through our Da Vinci™ AI, which transcribes, summarizes, analyzes and scores the call — providing the insights your sales team needs to win more business. TRAQ is your sales analyst, strategist and coach, all in one.
Who is TRAQ for?
TRAQ is designed for sales leaders, sales reps, and sales coaches who are focused on building an effective and resilient sales team that closes more sales every quarter.
How can I win more deals with TRAQ?
By capturing and analyzing every call, TRAQ empowers each team member with unbiased knowledge of the risks, opportunities, tasks, features and important topics related to each call, buyer, and opportunity — so they know exactly how to move each sale forward.
How does TRAQ help me coach my sales team?
TRAQ shows you the skill gaps so you can build a customized training program for each team member. It also highlights what's already working, so you can recognize those team members and level up everyone's performance.
Is TRAQ a CRM?
Nope! TRAQ complements and integrates with leading CRMs like HubSpot, Salesforce, and Zoho (with more being added frequently). With a CRM integration set up, you can access TRAQ meeting notes and insights without leaving the CRM.
Is TRAQ a note-taking app?
Yes, and so much more! On top of notes, TRAQ gives you a full recording of each call, an accurate transcript, AI annotations of each Action, Feature Request, Opportunity, Risk and Topic, a Call Recap, engagement scores, and custom performance reports.
Why should I use TRAQ for my meeting notes?
Use TRAQ for your meeting notes to be both more effective, thanks to AI insights about each buyer, and more efficient, saving 8-10 hours a week on administrative time. With TRAQ taking notes for you, you can stay engaged and focus on the conversation.
Can TRAQ improve sales productivity?
Yes! Most sales professionals spend 8-10 hours a week on average taking notes and typing them into the CRM. By skipping manual notes, you trade administration time for high-ROI tasks like creating custom follow-up plans. Sales leaders get all conversation analysis at their fingertips, with no need to listen to hours of recordings.
How Does It Work?
What conversations can I record with TRAQ?
TRAQ can record any conversation you have using a web conferencing tool such as Zoom or Teams, or a softphone such as Aircall or RingCentral. You can also use the TRAQ mobile app to record in-person meetings.
Should I notify the other party that I am recording them?
No matter how you record your conversations, it's a good idea — and sometimes required by law — to notify participants that the conversation is being recorded.
How do I record calls using my computer?
With a Calendar integration (Google Calendar or Microsoft Calendar), any Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams meeting on your calendar is automatically recorded by the Traq Meeting Assistant. Without one, you can download the Traq Desktop Recorder to manually record meetings.
How do I record an in-person meeting from iOS or Android?
Download the TRAQ Mobile App on the App Store or Google Play, log in to your TRAQ account, then click Record once the meeting begins.
What's the Traq Desktop Recorder?
A lightweight application for Windows and Mac that lets you capture online meetings and softphone calls with a single click.
Can TRAQ record cell phone calls?
Neither iOS nor Android allow recording phone calls natively. If you use a softphone mobile app with call recording, you can upload the recordings into TRAQ — we also have integrations for some softphones.
Does TRAQ record video?
Yes! Using our calendar integration, TRAQ captures both the audio and video from your Teams, Google Meet, or Zoom web conferences.
Can I import existing recordings from other applications?
Yes. If you have existing call recordings in a standard format (.flac, .wav, .mp3, or .m4a), you can import them from your TRAQ Dashboard and run the TRAQ analysis, get a summary, and learn from the AI insights.
Integrations and Compatibility
What integrations does TRAQ offer?
Our integrations make it super simple to add TRAQ to your daily workflows, and we're constantly adding new ones. Current CRM integrations: HubSpot, Salesforce, and Zoho. Current Calendar integrations: Google Calendar and Microsoft Calendar. If your preferred CRM isn't listed, chances are we can make it happen quickly — and you can still use TRAQ without a CRM integration.
How do Calendar integrations work?
With a Calendar integration, any Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet call on your calendar is recorded automatically with no further action on your part. If you use a different calendar or meeting tool, you can still use TRAQ via the Traq Desktop Recorder.
Does the Desktop Recorder work on Windows and Mac?
Yes! Windows and Mac versions of the Traq Desktop Recorder are both available.
What tools does the Desktop Recorder support?
VoIP softphone tools including RingCentral, Nextiva, Dialpad, Zoom Phone, Aircall and many others; and online conferencing and messaging tools including Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, GoToMeeting and many others.
Does TRAQ work with both iPhone and Android phones?
Yes. Download the Traq Mobile App on the App Store or Google Play, log in with your TRAQ credentials, and record your in-person meetings.
How do I get the TRAQ mobile app?
The TRAQ Mobile App is available on Google Play and the App Store, and it can be used to record in-person meetings.

How is TRAQ used in recruiting?

Popular features include sentiment analysis, accurate transcriptions, summaries, and the ability to append resumes and other files to each candidate's profile.
Can I use TRAQ for project management?
Yes, and some of our customers already do. By recording client update calls and sharing that information with their teams, they ensure no client feedback is misunderstood or lost. You can make TRAQ your own and use it beyond sales.
